Japan’s largest medical exhibition, Medical Japan was held from February 21 (Wed) to February 23 (Fri) in Osaka. Medical Japan consisted of 7 specialized shows and provided a platform for around 40,000 medical/ health care experts from all over the world to explore business opportunities from a full range supply of facilities, products, services and latest technologies in medical, healthcare, diagnostic and pharmaceutical.
This year, the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) lead 12 Taiwanese companies to perform innovative medical technologies and at the show first-time, and Taiwanese companies had took Japan market by storm. Visitors could find “Retina”, a real-time navigation system from EPED which integrates imaging for better surgical accuracy and efficiency. During exhibition, a suitable Korean buyer, who was searching for a real-time navigation system exactly, placed an order right away. In addition, visitors might also be interested in the MonoStereo Virtualization System introduced by Medicaltek which connects 2D endoscopic system with 3D monitor display for minimal invasive surgery (MIS). Medicaltek offered TV display at the exhibition, which allowed buyers experienced MonoStereo Virtualization System on site.
Last but not the least, there were more outstanding Taiwanese companies desired to demonstrate high quality medical products in the field. The IoT digital rechargeable hearing aid from Digisine Energytech, the 3D spacer fabric medial aids from Taipei Smart Materials and the medical endoscope from Josefina Pan Pacific were all worth to look into.
